Last Friday, our founding editors Sander Pleij and Wiegertje Postma went to our designer Patrick Doan’s house to cross the final t’s and dot the final i’s on Issue Thirteen. That’s now done: the new issue landed in our printer’s inbox the subsequent Monday. The only thing left for us to do is decide on the colour of the cover, and first impressions suggest the battle has just begun: digital editor Liene Lūsīte insists on a different interpretation of what a pastel is than Sander does. Let’s see what happens.
Now we’re waiting for the next part: getting the issue back from the printer by the end of the month.
As for the beautiful upcoming Issue Thirteen, if there is a typo, it will be in print forever, because it’s done, case closed. But oh, we did our best. It is going to be grandiose. Here are some sneak peeks from Wiegertje, whose editing process involves good old paper and pen.
