Noga Arikha is a philosopher, historian of ideas and essayist. Currently based in Florence, she is Associate Fellow of the Warburg Institute and of the Center for the Politics of Feelings, London, and Research Associate at the Institut Jean Nicod, Paris. Her newest book is The Ceiling Outside: The Science and Experience of the Disrupted Mind, an exploration of self, memory, neuroscience and dementia Basic Books (US / UK).
